بعد إجراء الأبحاث والتحريات اللازمة، تبين أن الحادث يتعلق بقضية زجرية قيد المعالجة من قبل مصالح الشرطة. وقد أسفرت هذه التحقيقات عن توقيف المشتبه فيه، الذي يبلغ من العمر 80 عامًا، بناءً على شكاية تقدمت بها الضحية.
